So this one is not as bad as the the Siskel & Ebert review but not as accurate as possible either. But it is nice to have Return to Oz reviewed again. They did claim that the Oz movie rights were in public domain when Return to Oz was filmed, which was not true. They also really tied it to the Wizard of Oz, but that was inevitable. I thought it was interesting however,

And surprisingly the Nomes and the Nome King did not scare them one bit. And in the end they just loved the coronation scene. The oldest said "Is there a sequel? I want to see more like the end of the movie... the rest was kind of scary." I asked "Did you like it?" They all said "Yeah". And we all had a really good time.
