New Return to Oz Review

So this one is not as bad as the the Siskel & Ebert review but not as accurate as possible either. But it is nice to have Return to Oz reviewed again. They did claim that the Oz movie rights were in public domain when Return to Oz was filmed, which was not true. They also really tied it to the Wizard of Oz, but that was inevitable. I thought it was interesting however,

Actually, some of the books were public domain. "The Marvelous Land of Oz" was (it had three TV and film adaptations before "Return"), and "Ozma of Oz" went PD shortly after "Return to Oz" was released. Today, all of the books are public domain. Although Disney's rights on "Marvelous Land" were still active, they became a moot point for that one.
